First steps
Score 5
Type Maze is a short atmospheric puzzle where ordinary typing becomes movement. The cursor leaves letters behind, and an occupied cell turns into a wall, so every step is worth planning. Rooms, corridors and hints are all made of text, which makes the maze read like a page of strange code.
All four commands — up, down, left and right — are available from the very start; nothing has to be unlocked. A word is typed as you move and takes effect after Enter, while Backspace erases the last letter and pulls the cursor back. A phone gets an on-screen keyboard, while a computer needs only the usual one. The run is short, but the ending is worth seeing, and so is the secret command hidden near the end of the map.
