Under the cherries
Score 340
Sakura Fantasy is a contemplative boat ride down a Japanese river. Nothing to win, collect or beat: banks slide past while light and weather follow the hour. For anyone who wants quiet and good views.
The river passes misty shallows, an avenue of cherries, a red humpback bridge, a village below a five-storey pagoda, a bamboo gorge, a thousand torii gates and the lake of the sacred tree. You pick the season first: petals in spring, fireworks over the lake in summer, burning maples in autumn, snow and a bell in winter. Every place brings its haiku, and the music is composed as you go — no recorded tracks.
It is drawn live with three.js, without a single pre-rendered frame. Play in the browser with no install and no account; a Levbee account keeps your distance and achievements in your profile. Russian and English are included, and cinema mode takes the steering off your hands.

No. Everything is rendered live in the browser with WebGL, so there is no download and no file to run — and it is that rare case where beautiful browser games do not trade away the picture.
Yes. The account is optional, but with one your distance and achievements are kept in your profile rather than only in this browser.
Yes, it is free, and all four seasons are open from the first launch.
No. This is meditative play in its purest form: drift, look, read the haiku and listen to music that is being made as you move.
It opens on touch screens, but it is made for a computer: the WebGL scene wants a graphics card and the controls sit on the keyboard.
